Former Electronics Boutique HQ sold
Philadelphia Business Journal - 2:05 PM EDT Monday, July 23, 2007
Printing company Anro Inc. bought the former Electronics Boutique Holdings Corp. headquarters and distribution center in West Chester, Pa., and will relocate and consolidate its operations into that facility.
Anro of Devon, Pa., bought 931 Matlack St., a 142,000-square-foot building on 13 acres, for an undisclosed price from BPG Properties Ltd., a private Philadelphia real estate company. Anro, a private company that has been in business for more than 50 years, currently operates out of three locations in Devon, Malvern, and Strafford, PA.
Its new facility has office space and warehouse space as well as a cafeteria and data center. CB Richard Ellis represented BPG and Metric Realty represented Anro in the transaction.
Electronics Boutique was bought by GameStop Corp. in 2005 and its Philadelphia-area operations were moved.
