Welcome! This site was created as a meeting place for folks who formerly worked for a certain leading videogame retailer, to allow us to keep in touch as the company is dismantled and we drift apart. This is a team blog, with membership open to all former associates. If you'd like to join, please leave a comment with your name and email address. Although I started this blog, it will be up to you to keep it going. Write whatever you like, but use it to communicate with your friends, not to berate the company or any individuals therein. Thanks!

Our dear friend...

Email from Marilyn Kirchner:

It is with great sadness that I write this e-mail. Our dear friend, Linda, has completed her journey here on this earth and at such a young age. She has fought the fight but has had many physical setbacks. Every time she took 2 steps forward, a complication arose which set her back.

I have attached Linda’s last family photo. She will always be remembered as a loving mother to her 3 boys, Bill, Dirk & TJ, a great mother-in-law to Terry, Liz and Beth, a wonderful and beloved grandmother of 8 beautiful children who she adored, a great friend, and the longest and most dedicated employee of EB. I know a part of her had already died when EB was sold. May she rest in peace. Please continue to keep Linda and her family in your prayers.

Below is a message from her sons as well as the funeral arrangements. Please pass this on to anyone whose e-mail I didn’t have. Thanks.
