Texas Announces List of Most Stolen Cars in State
Something to think about if you're contemplating a move to Texas.
Pickups are not only popular among Texas drivers, they are also the top
targets for Texas vehicle thieves. The Texas Department of Public Safety
has released its final MVT19 report on the top vehicles reported stolen
in Texas during 2005, and as has been the case for several years, the
Chevrolet Pickup holds the No. 1 stolen vehicle position. Coming in at a
close No. 2 is the Ford Pickup. In the No. 3 position, the Dodge Pickup
also remains a popular target for Texas thieves. The Honda Accord and
the Honda Civic round out the top five stolen vehicles. The complete top
ten list includes:
2005 TEXAS TOP 10 STOLEN VEHICLES
1. Chevrolet Pickup
2. Ford Pickup
3. Dodge Pickup
4. Honda Accord
5. Honda Civic
6. GMC Pickup
7. Chevrolet Tahoe
8. Ford Taurus

Notes on Cube Farm
To do this yourself, take the following steps:
(1) Figure out how to send email from your cameraphone - this is carrier-dependent, so I'm not going to go into detail about it here. If you have a Treo with VersaMail, I might be able to help you, but everyone else is on their own. Sorry. Doesn't have to be a phone, either. The point is to get your photos somewhere where you can email them to Flickr.
(2) Set up a Flickr account (www.flickr.com) - the basic version is free. After your account is set up, go to your home page and click on the "Your Account" link in the upper right, then click on "Uploading by email" under the Photo Settings section. Flickr sets an email address for you automatically, but you can click the RESET button to generate a different one. Click it until you find one you like. I only wish they'd let you specify your own. Easier to remember.
(3) Configure your blog in Flickr - go to Your Account and choose "Your Blogs" from the Blogging section. Click on "Set up a new blog", Blogger Blog, then give it your Blogger ID and password and finish up - it will test your account for accessibility so you'll know that it will work.
(4) Configure your blogging email address in Flickr - go to Your Account and choose the "Uploading photos to your blog by email" link in the Blogging section. From there, choose your blog (only one will be available unless you have multiple blogs set up), choose the size of your pictures to post (the one below is the largest of the three, oddly labeled "Medium"), then choose the "Yes Please" option of including the body of your email as the blog posting text., then click Save.
After you click SAVE, you'll be sent to a page listing both your regular flickr upload address (sends your pictures to flickr only) and a second address for sending to both flickr AND your blog. You can test it by sending an email from any email application. Attach a picture to the message. The Subject will be the title of your blog post, and the body of the message will be the blog post itself, along with the picture. Once it's set up, it's very easy to send pictures to your blog, whether it's this one or another. Enjoy!
